A Spaceship Stuck on Jupiter

I used to love looking out of the skylight above my bed. Fireflies would flicker orange and green for a moment, exposing their buggy little eyes that displayed an emotion between relaxed and restless. I assumed they were confused by the transparent barrier keeping them from entering my room. It looked like it was right there, but they couldn’t get in. Or did they know it was glass and they couldn’t penetrate it, but lingered in hopes that I would open up and invite them in?
